10 TNA Wrestlers We Want to See Show Up in WWE as Part of Their New Partnership

The partnership between TNA and WWE is starting to heat up. When Jerry and Jeff Jarrett founded TNA in 2002, both companies instantly became in direct competition together, often throwing onscreen jabs at each other as a result. There was no love lost between both parties back then, but in 2025, the unexpected happened. WWE and TNA buried the hatchet officially by sparking a mutual partnership.

Thus far, a good handful of WWE wrestlers have appeared on TNA and the trade-off has been reciprocated. Fans, critics, and even wrestlers (like Nia Jax) are dreaming about which TNA wrestlers could make the jump to WWE next. Knockouts World Champion Masha Slammovich made a brief tease on NXT, while the former Fandango, JDC, just represented The System in challenging for the Heritage Cup. TNA has a deep roster wherein the possibilities are endless, but there are certainly a select handful of stars that some are hoping to see in a WWE ring next.

10 Chris Bey

The Ideal Comeback Story

During a 2020 media call, Daily DDT asked then-AEW-EVP and current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes which talents he was scouting for All Elite Wrestling, and name-dropped indie star "Dashing" Chris Bey. Just his luck, TNA would beat Cody to the punch by signing Bey themselves. The Ultimate Finesser has flourished since then, but unfortunately, Daquan Johnson-Bey suffered a career-threatening injury last October. It's a miracle and a blessing that he's alive, but the wrestling community (including Rhodes, with a $2000 GoFundMe donation) came together to support Bey in his worst moment.

Although Bey's in-ring future seems uncertain for the time being, it's clear that everyone wants to see Bey succeed to the highest level right now. Obviously, his first priority should just be rehabilitating his health back to 100%, but in a best-case scenario where he can wrestle again, a lot of people would love to see him in a WWE ring, perhaps for a reunion with Cody Rhodes.

9 Jody Threat

TNA's Wild Thing

The Canadian import lives up to her nickname of The Wild Child with her devil-may-care character with a frenetic, high-octane offense. She's best known for her championship-caliber run alongside Dani Luna as Spitfire, but anyone familiar with her time on the indies knows how capable she is as a singles star, especially when she showcases how deceptively strong she is in intergender matches.

Though yet to make an onscreen appearance for WWE, Jody Gyivicsan has brushed shoulders with the company behind the scenes in a sense. At the personal request of Trish Stratus, she helped the seven-time WWE Women's Champion train for her 2025 Royal Rumble surprise comeback. If she's trusted to help prime a Hall of Famer for greatness, then it's likely she'll be trusted in an actual WWE ring sooner than later.

8 Jackson Stone

The Suplex Shogun That Neither WWE nor TNA Should Overlook

"The Suplex Shogun" Jackson Stone signed with TNA upon winning the company's Gut Check prize. Gut Check is TNA's equivalent to WWE's Tough Enough with a twist, priming wrestlers from the independent wrestling circuit into TNA recruits. Shogun won his contract in 2020, but has yet to reap the rewards. He's seldom been utilized on TNA's roster, despite still being listed on their website as a member of the roster. His last televised match with the company was in July 2024.

This is a shame because, size-wise, Shogun is an absolute tank of an individual and has made the most of his sporadic appearances in TNA. He continues to be contracted by TNA despite continuing his indy bookings primarily in Michigan, Ohio, and Canada. Traditionally, WWE loves wrestlers with large statures, so Shogun would fit right in. He being a solid in-ring competitor is an added bonus. A brief excursion to WWE would make the most of his TNA contract during this partnership.

7 Tasha Steelz

TNA's Fastest Rising Star

As far as wrestlers who debuted for TNA over the last five years, Tasha Steelz is the company's biggest standout, arguably. She's a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Kiera Hogan as Fire 'N' Flava, she's the first ever female winner of TNA's signature Ultimate X match, and had a Knockouts World Championship reign highlighted by rivalries with future WWE Hall of Famers Mickie James and Gail Kim.

Considering how Steelz has remained impressive both in the ring and on the mic whenever she shares it with former WWE legends, then there should be no doubt that she is capable of doing the same on the big stage against vets of the current roster. As quickly as she rose to prominence for TNA, there is a strong chance that she gains a devoted fan following from the WWE Universe just as fast.

6 Alisha and Eddie Edwards

The Power Couple of TNA

The wrestling community loves to praise wrestlers who find a way to constantly switch and evolve their characters for years at a time (i.e. Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy, etc.). Eddie Edwards certainly fits under that microscope. That evolution has been showcased entirely under the TNA banner, first debuting in a tag team with Davey Richards - The Wolves - in which they were a straight-faced workhorse pairing. As a singles star, he'd become a crazed hardcore maniac.

Now, in the past few years working alongside his wife, Alisha, he's found the secret ingredient that truly compliments and fleshes out his character. The premiere power couple of TNA have taken the roster by storm, both achieving championship success that could easily transition into a WWE appearance. With their characters, they'd fit right in.

5 Mike Santana

TNA's Most Unexpected Breakout Star

Over the past decade in both TNA and AEW, Mike Santana initially made a name for himself in a tag team with Angel Ortiz. They first gained notoriety as part of the Latin American Xchange with ex-WCW star Konnan cutting promos in the ring as their manager, then as Proud and Powerful alongside Chris Jericho in their Inner Circle stable. After an offscreen falling out that led to an onscreen disbandment with Ortiz, as well as an AEW exit, Santana's future seemed up in the air for a time.

Then, a return to TNA showed his critics he was capable of playing a believable singles star. Instead of losing opportunities without a tag team partner, he's only continued to garner opportunities and support from the TNA faithful. The next opportunity that could arrive to his doorstep would be a WWE debut.

4 Laredo Kid

Fits with WWE's Cruiserweights

Laredo Kid has emerged as one of TNA's most exciting high-flyers to arrive to the company in recent memory. Since signing with TNA in 2021, the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion has kept audiences on the edge of their seat with one of a kind in-ring moves. In 2024, he gained his first taste of gold upon winning the Digital Media Championship.

Much like how his offense usually takes him to the sky, Laredo Kid's career limitations can only be the ceiling. His next destination could skyrocket to WWE, especailly as the latter continues to bolster its own high-flying competitors. Just imagine a match where Laredo Kid is in the ring staring down the likes of Dragon Lee, Carmelo Hayes, or a legend like Rey Mysterio. Even for a one-off appearance, these could make for instant classics.

3 Mustafa Ali

Return to WWE to Show His Improvement

As Mustafa Ali, Adeel Alam previously worked for WWE from 2016 to 2023, most notably challenging for the Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania. He also had a string of bad luck in WWE in which he seemed inches away from a major push in the company, but due to injuries or poor timing, it'd always follow through. He has gained a second wind under the TNA banner, becoming the first man in the company's history to win a title in their debut.

There was an opinion in the community during his time in WWE that the only thing holding him back in WWE was his character work, but under TNA, he's improved immensely. The former Soul of 205 Live has gained plenty of traction with his current political character, slowly building a Cabiner comprised of Great Hands John Skyler and Jason Hotch, as well as press secretary Tasha Steelz. If he were interested in a WWE comeback, he could showcase exactly how much he's improved.

2 Moose

Could TNA's Most Dominant Force Go to WWE?

Moose is a name that frequently comes up from fans who are surprised that he's never stepped inside a WWE ring. In 2024, Quinn Ojinnaka told Chris Van Vliet that before re-signing his latest contract with TNA in 2023, WWE did offer him a contract. Although he prioritized TNA out of loyalty and working with a boss he viewed as a friend (then-President of TNA, Scott D'Amore), it's easy to understand why an offer from WWE would be on the table for him.

Moose has the look, presence, and presentation of the kind of wrestler that WWE loves molding into a Superstar. Tall, muscular, and imposing as a figure, hence why so many fans not only expect him to be in WWE, butwant to see him in WWE. If Moose wants to maintain his loyalty to TNA, the partnership allows him to make an appearance for WWE while still signed to TNA, if the opportunity presents itself.

1 The Hardy Boyz

Should a Return to WWE Be Imminent?

The last time that Matt or Jeff Hardy were inside a WWE ring was in 2020 and 2021, respectively. In the time since, they've worked together almost exclusively in tag team competition. First they had a brief stint in AEW, and more recently, they've rejoined Total Nonstop Action, becoming TNA World Tag Team Champions at TNA's equivalent to WrestleMania, Bound for Glory.

While grateful for their runs in TNA, both brothers have expressed wanting to one day end their careers back at the company that made them Superstars. Thanks to TNA's partnership with WWE, that possibility feels all the more likely, whether the Hardy Boyz ever re-sign with their old stomping grounds or not. The NXT Tag Team Championships are officially WWE's first titles to be defended in a TNA ring. With one of their greatest tag teams ever holding the opposite brand's titles, there's an opportunity for TNA to have their titles recognized in a WWE ring.
