That movie of course has its own merits as well, although the 2004 remake of the movie has the combined star power not only of Kidman but also of major Hollywood stars like Glenn Close, Bette Midler, Christopher Walken, and many others.

This comes to a head in a shocking, devastating way, but it also does so with myriad musical numbers, all while Ann and Henry's daughter, the titular Annette, is played by a puppet.
