90 Day Fiancé's Angela Deem's Huge News About Reality TV Career Amid Rumors She Banned After Admitting She's Lonely Without Michael Ilesanmi
Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has been rumored to have been banned from the show following her split with Michael Ilesanmi, but the truth appears to be something else. Angela and Michael together made their 90DF debut with Before the 90 Days season 2. The couple’s dramatic fights over Angela’s jealous and aggressive nature became a staple in the franchise, and Angela and Michael were cast in almost every popular 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. However, Angela got into trouble when she spoiled her HEA season 8 storyline by revealing that Michael was missing.
90 Day Fiancé fans were recently rejoining over rumors of Angela getting fired from the franchise, but the information is seemingly wrong, and she's still very much a part of 90 Day Fiancé.
In March 2025, Shabooty posted that the network was “officially done” with Angela. He added that while Angela has a few months left on her contract, “word on the street is they are thoroughly done with her.” Angela did not respond to the claims directly. However, her friend and blogger John Yates, in collaboration with 90dayfianceaddicts shared a statement via an “anonymous source” that Angela has not been let go and that the network has “NOT cut ties with Angela Deem.” The source claimed that Angela is “still a ratings grabber” and is “still” too valuable to the network.
What Her Reality TV Comeback Means For Angela Deem’s Future
Will Angela Get A Solo Spin-Off?
With Michael gone, Angela needs a new partner to be cast on 90 Day Fiancé. For cast members like her, the franchise has shows like 90 Day: The Single Life and a new soon-to-be-announced show based on the concept of 90 Day House. Angela is against being a part of The Single Life. In May 2024, Angela did a TikTok live where she said the spin-off was not for her. She seemed to have been interested in more of a solo spin-off like the one Chantel Everett did.

When Angela recently suggested she would return to reality TV, fans speculated if it would be on a new season of the House of Villains. Angela has also teased that she’ll be a part of a Netflix documentary. However, Angela, who had once set her sights on Hollywood, might just be thinking and dreaming big as she decides where she wants her reality TV career to head now that she doesn’t have Michael by her side. She’s admitted to being in a dark place and feeling lonely, and it could be missing Michael, but she will never accept it.
Our Take On Angela Possibly Coming Back To 90 Day Fiancé
Will Angela Take A Leaf Out Of Big Ed Brown's Book?
Like Angela, her 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 co-star Big Ed also has a bad reputation among fans. Big Ed mistreated his partners much like Angela without the aggression, but after his split from Liz, fans hoped he’d never return to TV screens. However, Big Ed recently made a comeback with Pillow Talk despite having suggested that his contract with the franchise was ending in 2024. Perhaps Angela might have to do Pillow Talk like Big Ed as there are rumors her funds are running dry, and she’s desperately in need of money.
90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
