90 Day Fiancé’s Michael Ilesanmi Shockingly Reveals If Angela Deem Is Still Holding On To Anger Amid Attempts To Get Him Deported

Michael Ilesanmi from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? shared that Angela Deem may still be harboring anger towards him, which could be negatively affecting her mental and physical health. Michael and Angela initially met on social media and developed a fast romance. Despite Michael's infidelity issues, Angela chose to trust him and sponsored his move to the United States in December 2023. However, the relationship didn't last long, as Michael eventually decided to leave Angela. He is now living on his own in Houston, Texas. Meanwhile, Angela is attempting to have him deported to Nigeria.

It has been a year since Michael and Angela separated in February 2024, but one of them is still apparently filled with anger.

Michael recently shared a video from @motivatetube on his Instagram Story, suggesting Angela hasn't completely forgiven him. In the video, TV host Steve Harvey said, "If you forgive a person, but you hang on to the anger, the pain, and the hurt, and you say you forgave the person, then you don't understand what forgiveness really is." The video emphasized that "forgiveness isn't for the other person, it's for you." It also explained that clinging to anger can be self-destructive, comparing it to "drinking the poison" yourself and expecting the other "person to die."

What Michael Claiming Angela Doesn’t Understand Forgiveness Means

Michael Likely Wants Angela To Dismiss The Case Brought Against Him

Michael could be trying to communicate to Angela that she'd benefit from forgiving him instead of holding on to anger. He likely wants his wife to move on and drop the annulment case. When Angela first took legal action, Michael didn't have much in savings. He was unsure of how to come up with thousands of dollars for a lawyer, so he reached out to his fans for help. Through his fundraiser, Michael was able to raise over $50,000. However, it seems that he may be running out of that money, which is why he's hoping for Angela's forgiveness.

It is also possible that Michael is genuinely concerned for Angela's well-being, as he was once in love with her. The Nigerian reality star truly cared for his wife, spoiled her with thoughtful gifts, and bought her cakes. He also left social media to appease Angela's insecurities. Although Michael gave up on his marriage in 2024, he may still have feelings for Angela anddoesn't want her to spend time in court battling him. He likely hopes she will drop the case to avoid wasting more money on legal fees.

Michael and Angela's relationship has always been tumultuous. Throughout their six-year relationship, he consistently betrayed her trust by engaging with other women online. Though they've been separated for a year, forgiving Michael for toying with her emotions for so long may not be easy for Angela. Michael's behavior over the years suggests a lack of respect and love for Angela. Without any remorse, he left his wife just three months after he moved to America. Therefore, it's now up to the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? alum to decide if she will forgive him.
