Aberdeen (the Grey City) is a stunning seaside city best known for its granite buildings. If you have the time, I would highly recommend fitting a visit to Aberdeen into your trip through Scotland! To be honest, I mostly visited the city because of its university, which looks like something taken straight out of Harry Potter movie. However, I discovered that the city had so much more to offer in terms of things to see and do! It is also much less touristy than many other places in Scotland, making it a nice, peaceful stop on the way.
