Anne Heche's Last Movies — All 5 Posthumous Releases, Explained

With a career going back to the 1980s, late actor Anne Heche was gifted with a versatile talent that allowed her to portray a variety of roles. From playing the romantic lead in Six Days Seven Nights to providing strong supporting characters in movies like Donnie Brasco, Heche showed her dedication to her craft, no matter how big or small the part was. Even after she received homophobic backlash when she began a romantic relationship with Ellen DeGeneres in 1997, Heche never hid from the spotlight.

The actress' abilities even extended to dance, as evident when Heche stole the show on Dancing with the Stars in season 29 of the competition reality series. Two years later, Heche was seriously injured in a car crash, and died in a hospital a week later on August 12, 2022. Following Heche’s death, there were five films that continued to be released posthumously that featured the actor, and a sixth one is still on the way. All independent titles, these movies showed Heche’s love for acting as well as her ability to take on just about every type of genre.
