Bachelor In Paradise: 10 Golden Contestants I Hope To See On The Beach This Summer

Bachelor In Paradise season 10 premieres this summer, and I couldn't be more enthusiastic about getting back to the beach. The season finale of The Bachelor 29 recently aired on ABC and host Jesse Palmer made it official. He confirmed that the show would be back this summer, named a few of the first contestants, and shocked audiences with a wild new twist that includes contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. Bachelor In Paradise is my favorite iteration of the franchise, and I'm excited to see how they'll incorporate the new twist.

Bachelor In Paradise is one of the best things on television. While The Bachelor and The Bachelorette focus on the romantic search of one person, Bachelor In Paradise is a fun ensemble show. Despite the fact thatBachelor In Paradise season 9 didn't yield any lasting couples, it was still a fun watch. This season promises to be the wildest yet, with a new twist changing everything. I'm counting down the days until Bachelor In Paradise season 10, and here are 10 Golden contestants I hope to see on the beach this coming summer.

10 Kathy Swarts

70 Years Old

70-year-old Kathy Swarts made her television debut as one of 22 single Golden women dating 72-year-old Gerry Turner on The Golden Bachelorseason 1. Though she and Gerry didn't have a romantic spark, she made quite an impression on fans. She memorably told 70-year-old Theresa Nist to "zip it." Kathy is highly entertaining, so she'd add a lot to Bachelor In Paradise season 10, especially if her best friend, Susan Noles, is on the beach too.

9 Susan Noles

66 Years Old

Kathy's best friend and The Golden Bachelor season 1 cast mate, 66-year-old Susan Noles, is a wedding officiant from Aston, Pennsylvania. Susan didn't win Gerry's heart, but she did get to officiate his televised wedding to Theresa. It was the first marriage that Susan ever officiated that ended in divorce. Hopefully, she'll be invited to the beach this summer, where she'll get to write her own love story.

8 Jonathan Roan

61 Years Old

Jonathan, a61-year-old shipping consultant from Oakland, Iowa, was one of the 24 Golden men who traveled to the iconic Bachelor mansion to compete for Joan Vassos' heart. Though he and Joan hit it off during The Golden Bachelorette season 1, she liked several other men better, and eliminated him before her hometown dates. Since then, Jonathan has been in a serious relationship, but they've broken up. Now that he's single, maybe he'll be ready to mingle on the beach this summer.

7 Gerry Turner

72 Years Old

Gerry, a 72-year-old retired widower from Indiana, was the first The Golden Bachelor. Gerry gave his final rose to Theresa Nist, and the two were married soon after. Sadly, their marriage only lasted a few weeks before the septuagenarian couple announced their divorce. Though he was diagnosed with cancer after his stint on the show, he seems to be better now. I know he's controversial, but Gerry is still a great catch, so I'd love to see him on Bachelor In Paradise season 10.

6 Theresa Nist

70 Years Old

Gerry's ex-wife, 70-year-old Theresa, also deserves to be on the beach for Bachelor In Paradise season 10. Since her divorce from Gerry, Theresa has been focused on her family, and on her career as a successful day trader. If she was able to find love on national television once before, she deserves a second shot.

5 Charles Ling

66 Years Old

66-year-old Charles Ling is a widow who wasn't able to win Joan's heart during The Golden Bachelorette season 1, but he became a fan favorite. He lost his beloved wife to a brain aneurysm six years ago, after 36 years of marriage and two children together. One of the most endearing things about Charles is how much he obviously loved his wife.

After being eliminated from Joan's season, Jordan was spotted with Leslie Fhima, which led to rumors about their potential romantic match. If both of them end up on the beach this summer, maybe they can find out if they match up.

2 Pascal Ibgui

69 Years Old

Joan was interested in The Golden Bachelorette's Pascal Ibgui, 69, from the moment they met during The Golden Bachelorette season 1. She was charmed by his French accent and style. It wasn't surprising when Pascal made it to Joan's final three, but he ended up telling Joan that he saw her as a friend, and he eliminated himself from the contest. I'd love to see Pascal on the beach for Bachelor In Paradise season 10, if only to see his beach wardrobe.

61-year-old Faith Martin was one of the three final women that 72-year-old Gerry dated during the inaugural season of The GoldenBachelor. The impossibly cool Faith pulled up to the iconic Bachelor mansion on her motorcycle, and she played guitar for Gerry. After hometown dates, Gerry sent Faith home in third place, giving his two overnight dates to Leslie Fhima and Theresa instead. I'd love to see the motorcycle-loving, guitar-strumming Faith get a second chance at finding love on Bachelor In Paradise season 10.
