Fiorentina director Joe Barone assures the club is ‘100 per cent’ behind coach Vincenzo Italiano. ‘We see him being here for a long time.’

Director general Barone spoke to DAZN before kick-off and was asked about the reports Italiano is no longer very popular in Florence.
“To those who write that there is no longer a good rapport, I want to tell everyone that we all have an excellent rapport with him.
“We see him being here for a long time, because he has great capabilities. We do not like it when he is attacked and that is why both I and President Rocco Commisso are 100 per cent behind Vincenzo.”
This visit to Bologna is Italiano’s 139th different competitive match on the Fiorentina bench and not once has he ever fielded the same starting XI.
