Malia White was last seen onBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 6, but what has she been up to since her time on the show? Viewers first met Malia as a deckhand on season 2 of the Bravo series, where she made waves for her love triangle with Bosun Wesley Walton and Chef Adam Glick. She went on to date Wesley for several years after the season ended. Malia returned for Below Deck Med season 5 as a bosun and again for season 6 in the same role.

Even though Malia didn't have the best showing on Below Deck Med season 5, she ratted Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier out for having unregistered Valium and a vape pen on board, and she returned for season 6. Malia had somewhat of a redemption season and had a better rapport with viewers. However, Malia has yet to return to the series, which has many wondering what she has been up to since Below Deck Med season 6.

Malia Starred In Winter House Season 3

In early September 2023, Bravo announced theWinter House season 3 cast, which included Malia. Winter House included other Below Deck alums as well as several other Bravolebrities. She will be joined by Summer House’s Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Danielle Olivera, Below Deck stars Katie Flood and Alex Propson, Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz, and so many more.

In the trailer for Winter House season 3, Malia was seen flirting with Kory Keefer, who was dating Summer House'sSam Feher at the time. Sam comes to the house, set in Colorado, and faces off with Malia, saying she doesn't respect her and Kory's relationship. While Malia is no longer on Below Deck, she got to appear on other Bravo shows.

Malia Works As A Chief Mate

According to Malia's Instagram bio, she currently works as a Chief Mate 3000. Malia was able to achieve this position through certifications, as well as by being in charge of a deck team for at least a year. Malia is passionate about her work and becoming a captain, which is why she looked up to Captain Sandy Yawn so much on Below Deck Med.

While it seems Malia got to take some time off from yachting to travel and promote Winter House, she is a yachtie at her core. Malia may not be appearing on Below Deck Med anytime soon, but viewers got to see her on the upcoming season of Winter House. Whether fans loved or hated her, Malia was an integral part of the Below Deck franchise.

Would Malia Ever Return To The Below Deck Franchise?

It's very possible that Malia could return to the Below Deck franchise in the future. Malia was a great deckhand during her first season on Below Deck Med and was a fantastic Bosun during her last two seasons. She even appeared on Winter House, another Bravo series. The former reality star is clearly in good standing with the network, so I'm sure they'd be more than happy to welcome her back. All the current Below Deck franchise captains even follow Malia on Instagram. They include Captain Sandy, Captain Jason Chambers, Captain Glenn Shephard, and Captain Kerry Titheradge.

Malia was a great addition to the franchise despite her controversial feud with Hannah during Hannah's final season of Below Deck Med. Nonetheless, they have both since moved on and are living their best lives. Malia is actually serious about her career in yachting, so to have her back in the franchise would be fantastic. Not many yachties are as serious as Malia, and it would be cool to see someone who truly loves their job again. The casting for Below Deck Med season 10 is still unknown, so there is a chance we could see her again.

What Is Malia Up To In 2024?

After appearing on Winter House and taking a break from the yacht life to promote the show last year, Malia quickly got back into the swing of things in 2024. As soon as Winter House season 3 was done airing, Malia went right back into yachting. She started in 2024 in the Caribbean. She took several pictures for her Instagram that were geotagged with Grenada. Malia seemed to be there in January and ended up in Europe in February. Malia shared photos of herself in Portugal and then made her way back to Central America in Mexico.

Other places Malia has visited this year so far include Italy, Scotland, Greece, and more. It seems like most of these places have been for pleasure rather than for work. Malia hasn't visited these places alone, either. In a few photos, there is an unnamed man who appears alongside Malia and the two seem like they are more than friends. This mystery man also appeared in several of her Scotland photos, which the two likely went to for a romantic getaway. Malia has yet to officially confirm if she's in a relationship.

Malia is back to focus on her yachting career in 2024 after appearing on several Bravo shows on and off for the last few years. Her goal is to become a captain one day, and it seems Malia may reach that goal soon. A return to Below Deck Mediterranean may be in the cards one day, but that might happen once Captain Sandy decides to retire.
