Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx, the stars of Netflix's action film Back in Action, also starred in one of the most quotable football movies ever made. Diaz plays Christina Pagniacci in Any Given Sunday, the young team owner of the Miami Sharks who has lost her faith in Tony's coaching abilities. While categorized as a dark comedy, Any Given Sunday is a gritty tale of sacrifice, intensity, and passion for the game and features one of the most inspiring sports movie speeches in film history. In fact, the gridiron classic's52% score on Rotten Tomatoes is significantly higher than those of Annie (28%) and Back in Action (26%) combined.
Out of their shared filmography, Any Given Sunday is the best film that Foxx and Diaz have made together. It also has the highest RT audience score of these films at 73% compared to Back in Action's 61%. Viewers don't necessarily have to be sports or football fans to enjoy Any Given Sunday since the performances of Pacino, Diaz, and Foxx are reason enough to give it a watch, especially for those who weren't exactly thrilled by Back in Action.
