ISTANBUL – NBA-leading Cleveland Cavaliers secured their 13th consecutive win with a narrow 118-117 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
Eight games took place in the NBA on Saturday, with the Eastern Conference leaders, the Cavaliers, hosting the Hornets at Intuit Dome.
Donovan Mitchell led his team to victory with a standout 24-point performance.
Evan Mobley recorded a double-double, recording 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Darius Garland added 20 points. Both played key roles in the Cavaliers' 53rd win of the season.
Despite Miles Bridges' impressive 46-point performance, the Hornets suffered their 48th loss of the season.
Jokic's historic TD lifts Nuggets past Suns
Hosting the Phoenix Suns, the Denver Nuggets secured a 149-141 victory, led by Nikola Jokic's historic performance.
The Serbian star dominated with 31 points, 21 rebounds, and 22 assists.
With this achievement, Jokic became the first NBA player with a triple-double of at least 30 points, 20 rebounds and 20 assists.
Aaron Gordon contributed 27 points, while Christian Braun and Jamal Murray added 25 and 19 points, respectively, for the Nuggets.
