Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 & 6 Make A Spider-Man: No Way Home Callback And 17 Other Easter Eggs And Marvel References

Despite his attempts to resist his old life as Daredevil, Matt Murdock finds himself without a choice in these new episodes. To that end, there are some great ties and nods to the comics, the original Netflix Daredevil series, and the greater MCU along the way.
In Daredevil: Born Again episodes 5 & 6, Matt Murdock finds himself amid a bank robbery before finally facing down the serial-killing artist known as Muse. Despite the action-heavy episodes, there are multiple characters and references to be found, including a connection to a young vigilante Daredevil has yet to meet, and a great nod to his first and only theatrical appearance in the MCU. With that in mind, here are all the biggest Easter eggs and MCU references we found throughout Daredevil: Born Again episodes 5 & 6.

Needing a loan for Murdock & McDuffie's expansion, Matt Murdock meets with none other than Yusuf Khan at a New York bank, the assistant manager and father of Kamala Khan.
17 A Custom Ms Marvel Funko Pop
A Proud Father of a Vigilante Hero

Yusuf has a custom Funko POP figure of Ms. Marvel on his desk, showing his support for his daughter even if official merch of the hero has yet to be released in the MCU (unlike in real life).
16 Kamala's in California
Recruiting Cassie Lang in San Francisco?
Yusuf reveals that Kamala is currently in California meeting friends, which is likely connected to her plan to recruit Cassie Lang with Kate Bishop's Hawkeye for a Young Avengers/Champions team, as was teased in The Marvels' post-credits scene.
15 Jersey City
Home of Ms. Marvel
Yusuf tells Murdock that Jersey City is the home of Ms. Marvel, a vigilante whom Matt confirms he hadn't heard about and has yet to meet.
14 Matt's Childhood
Raised in St. Agnes
During the bank robbery, Matt Murdock tells the lead thug that he was an orphan, connecting to his childhood in the original Netflix series where Murdock was raised by nuns at St. Agnes Orphanage following the death of his father. This includes Sister Maggie, who was secretly Matthew's mother who didn't reveal the truth to her son until he was an adult during the events of Daredevil season 3.
13 “A Really Good One”
Connecting To Spider-Man: No Way Home
After cracking the bank vault with his heightened senses, Yusuf asks Matt what kind of lawyer he is. Matt responds that he's a "really good" lawyer, a callback to his similar response to Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home when he caught a brick thrown through a window.

Murdock Returning To Daredevil Is Inevitable

Murdock putting on the thug's red mask is clear foreshadowing, all but confirming that his return to his typical red mask and horn is inevitable.
11 A Future Dinner With The Khans
Matt Will Eventually Meet Kamala

Inviting Matt to dinner with his family, the promise of meeting the famous Kamala is made, creating the opportunity for Daredevil and Ms. Marvel to possibly be familiar with each other when and if they're both in the next Avengers films.
10 The Swordsman Is Still Active In New York
