Instead, it was Dallas that Kalani was having her pizza nights with and clinking cocktail glasses with on her Instagram, secretly having soft-launched her relationship with Dallas already.

In July 2023, TheSun reported that the mystery man that Kalani had been dating was named Dallas Nuez. The publication reported that a source informed them about Kalani’s mystery Instagram man being named Dallas. He reportedly works for a private security company. Around the time Kalani and Dallas celebrated their anniversary, Asuelu posted a video claiming his visa and papers had expired, and he was going to get deported to Samoa. He made fans believe that he was going back to Samoa when he was living in the U.S. on a 10-year green card. Asuelu even went to the extent of tagging one of his videos with Utulaelae, Samoa.

Asuelu knows that he has lost the opportunity to get back together with Kalani after admitting to his mistakes.
