Epic Games Mobile Reveals Two Free Titles For Classic RPG And Sci-Fi Fans
Epic Games has revealed that Evoland 2 and Out There will be free this week on the company's mobile storefront. Every week, Epic Games gives away free games on both its PC and mobile platforms that are free to download and keep. This week's mobile titles offer a great trip down memory lane for RPG lovers and a challenging survival experience for Sci-Fi fans.
The free mobile games program was launched last week when Epic Games Mobile gave away Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist. While those two games are no longer available for free, this week's offering features two more excellent titles. Epic Games has revealed that the RPG Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder and the Sci-Fi survival Out There: Omega Editionare both available to download for free (and keep forever) until April 3 from the Epic Games Mobile Store.

Take A Journey Around The Galaxy Or Through The History Of RPGs
Out There is a story of survival from developer Mi-Clos Studio, set against the backdrop of outer space. The game challenges players to explore, collect resources, and survive in a procedurally generated galaxy. The game feels like playing through a comic book as you journey around to different planets on a quest to save yourself and possibly the entire human race as well. Joining you on your travels through Out There is a soundtrack composed by Siddhartha Barnhoorn, who also composed the music for The Stanley Parable.
The announcement points out that Out There: Omega Edition "may not be available in all regions," though there are no additional details about where the game is unavailable.
Take an entirely different kind of journey in Evoland 2, the followup to Shiro Games and Playdigious Evoland. Although the game is technically a sequel, it acts as a much more polished and well-designed standalone title. In Evoland 2,players make their way through the history of video games, literally transforming the game around them as they do so.

That brings the grand total to four completely free titles on offer from Epic Games this week. All four games are indie darlings, each offering a different experience and definitely worth a try for the unbeatable deal of "free."
