MANILA – The French Embassy in Manila told travelers to plan accordingly as waiting time for an appointment for visa applications at its visa center in Manila is estimated to take at least six weeks.

The longer waiting time, it said, comes amid the high demand due to approaching high tourist season in Europe.

“The tourist season has begun. Due to high demand, the current waiting time for an appointment to submit a visa application at TLS Manila is six weeks,” it said in an advisory Thursday.

“We strongly recommend that you anticipate your travel plans and submit your application as early as possible,” it added.

France's visa application center in Manila opened in December 2023, with TLS Contact as its service provider.
