Genshin Impact 5.5 Leaks: Pyroculi In New Natlan Map Area Show How Large The Volcano Will Truly Be
The number of new Pyroculi in Genshin Impact 5.5 has leaked, showcasing just how large the rumored Natlan map area surrounding the Great Volcano of Tollan will truly be. At the moment, the action RPG by HoYoverse is at the start of Version 5.4, a small patch that is mostly centered around limited-time events and a brief return to Inazuma, where players will meet Yumemizuki Mizuki. However, the beta tests for the Version 5.5 update have started, and, with them, several leaks have been emerging. This includes leaked information about Varesa’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 5.5, for example.
The leaks have also provided details about Iansan’s kit, who is expected to be a 4-star Electro character wielding a polearm in battle. In addition to the characters themselves, there have also been extra leaks about the other pieces of content, including mentions of a new World Quest series and a new Natlan map area in Genshin Impact 5.5, both of which will likely go hand-in-hand with one another. The leaks so far have shown that the new map is the Great Volcano of Tollan, an area in the southwest portion of Natlan that has been looming on the horizon.
Genshin Impact 5.5’s Rumored New Natlan Area Has Had Its Pyroculi Count Leaked
The Map Expansion May Significantly Increase The Number Of Pyroculi
Now, it’s possible to get a scope of just how big this new area will be based on the rumored number of Pyroculi spread across it. According to leaked information provided by Team Mew, which was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, the new Natlan map area in Version 5.5 will contain 60 new Pyroculi for players to collect. With the current Natlan areas, players have access to 162 Pyroculi and, according to the recent leak, the addition of the Great Volcano of Tollan should increase the total Pyroculi count in Genshin Impact to 222.

Genshin Impact 5.5 New Artifacts Leaks Seem To Show How Skirk Will Work In The New Update
Two new Artifact sets have been leaked for Genshin Impact 5.5 and one of them may have just revealed how Skirk’s gameplay kit will work.
As seen in the leak shared by Team Mew, the Version 5.0 update, which introduced Natlan and brought forth the largest single mass of territory in the Nation of Pyro, added 108 Pyroculi for players to collect. The region’s second big map expansion, which added Quahuacan Cliff, Tezcatepetonco Range, and Ochkanatlan, brought forth an extra 58 Pyroculi to Natlan; together, these areas compose the aforementioned 162 Pyroculi that can be obtained. While the number of Pyroculi in the leaked volcano region in Genshin Impact 5.5 has yet to be confirmed, it does give some insight into what players can expect.
Leaked Pyroculi Count For Genshin Impact 5.5 Hints At Rumored Map’s Size
The Area Could Have Multiple Layers
Even though only one main area has been leaked for Version 5.5, it seems like the Great Volcano of Tollan will live up to its name and be a considerably large zone to explore. If the leaks are true, this single new map area will contain nearly the same amount of Pyroculi that were added in the previous expansion, composed of three major areas to the west and northwest of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. In fact, technically speaking, this rumored upcoming Genshin Impact 5.5 area will contain two more Pyroculi than the three previous Natlan areas combined.

Genshin Impact 5.5 Leaks: Iansan Materials Can Already Be Farmed, But There's Bad News About Her Talent Books
The list of Iansan’s Ascension and Talent materials in Genshin Impact 5.5 has leaked and players can farm most of the items, but there’s bad news.
When compared to the previous areas, it is expected that the Great Volcano of Tollan will have several layered areas, some of which will likely go underground. This is not only speculation but something that has been mentioned in the aforementioned map leaks about the area. As such, players may have a load of Pyroculi to collect in the overworld above ground, but also within the volcano itself. Because the rumors point toward a World Quest in Genshin Impact 5.5 set in the new area, players may have to complete it to gain access to new portions of the zone.
Subsequently, players may then gain access to some Pyroculi that were otherwise blocked by progression.
Leaked Genshin Impact 5.5 Area May Not Be The Final Natlan Map Expansion
Rumors Still Point At An Eventual Mare Jivari Release
If the leaks are accurate, the Great Volcano of Tollan expansion should bring Natlan up to standard with the amount of Oculi expected from regions recently. For reference, Fontaine has 225 Hydroculi, while Sumeru has 271 Dendroculi. However, this may not be the final expansion to the Natlan map. In fact, several rumors hint that, at some point in the near future, players will see the addition of Mare Jivari to Genshin Impact, an area in Natlan with a nearly mythological status that is said to be a harsh desert where life does not prosper.

Genshin Impact 5.5 Leaks: How Many Primogems Are Available In The Next Update
An estimation of the Primogems obtainable in Genshin Impact 5.5 has been shared, based on the leaks provided for the upcoming patch so far.
If this is true, then the Pyroculi count could rise from the rumored 222 in Version 5.5 to a much larger quantity, possibly matching or even surpassing the amount of Dendroculi offered by Sumeru, for example. For now, however, the leaks and speculation should be considered with caution, as the information provided may be inaccurate, incomplete, or subject to change. Nevertheless, based on the combination of leaks, it does seem like the Great Volcano of Tollan in Genshin Impact will be an immense and layered area in Natlan, even if it doesn’t occupy too much space on the map.
