Version 5.6 is the next big update for the action RPG and, while it hasn’t been formally announced by HoYoverse since the game is still in the early stages of Version 5.5, the beta tests for the upcoming patch have started, revealing a lot of information about its contents – like one of Escoffier’s Talents in Genshin Impact 5.6.

The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. This leak essentially confirms the previous rumors that Genshin Impact 5.6’s world boss would be a Secret Source Automaton enemy.

At the center of its structure, the leaked world boss seems to have an eye or, at least, an area from which it should fire energy or projectiles of some sort. In terms of lore, the leak reveals that Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device was created by an ancient civilization with the intention of controlling multiple Secret Source Automatons in Genshin Impact – likely those seen in Natlan.

The best team comps to use against this leaked Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device are, apparently, led by DPS units that can quickly deal Cryo DMG – preferably through their Normal Attacks. As such, players will likely thrive with characters like Wriothesley, Ayaka Kamisato, and Ganyu. Supports like Layla and Rosaria could also help with Cryo hits during team comp rotations – this need to use Cryo doesn’t necessarily restrict players from using characters of other elements, especially supports, such as Xilonen in Genshin Impact.
Even if she is a Natlan character, Xilonen could apply Cryo RES shred on the boss, making them take more Cryo DMG from whatever Cryo character you choose to use.

Based on HomDGCat’s leaks about Escoffier’s kit, which were shared in a Reddit post, the rumored character will be capable of dealing off-field Cryo DMG with her Skill – which, combined with a main DPS’ Cryo attacks, could intensely obstruct the Flow Momentum build-up.
