Harley Quinn Debuts Her Most Disgusting Costume Yet in Super-Gross New Series

WARNING: Contains Potential Spoilers for Harley Quinn Fartacular: Silent Butt Deadly #1!

Harley Quinn’s highly controversial, fart-centric comic has just dropped—and no, ‘fart-centric’ isn’t a typo. This new issue focuses on the Gotham City Siren passing gas, with more than a few characters taking a whiff. However, the most disgusting part of this comic might just be Harley’s new costume.

It’s honestly wild that DC has made Plastic Man sniffing Harley’s farts canon.

The wait for Joanne Starer, Ted Brandt, Ro Stein, and Marissa Louise’s Harley Quinn Fartacular: Silent Butt Deadly special is over, and fans are already snapping up this issue for its absurd premise alone. The story follows Harley as she gets cursed with uncontrollable flatulence.

In an attempt to reign in her toots, Harley seeks help from Justice League hero Plastic Man. The hero takes it upon himself to contain her farts by transforming into a fart-proof suit—but wait, it gets worse.

After Harley explains her flatulence problem to Plastic Man, the comic jumps forward in time, showing her wearing him as a fart-containment suit. The costume stays true to the Justice League hero's usual look, featuring his spandex style and a color scheme of red with black and gold accents. In all honesty, the suit isn’t far from something Harley herself would typically wear. However, things take a weird turn when it’s revealed that Plastic Man has positioned his face right where Harley’s butt is—and, by extension, the excessive gas she’s passing.

With every fart Harley lets out, the suit begins to inflate, creating the ridiculous image of Harley seemingly ballooning up. Still, the Plastic Man suit is technically doing its job by containing the stinky gas. While this is undeniably gross, the most disgusting part of the whole fiasco comes when Plastic Man decides to release the gas building up in the suit, exhaling it through his nostrils and taking a whiff before remarking, 'Hm. Pickle pizza ain’t bad.' This comment, clearly referring to the scent of Harley’s fart, is low-key nauseating. It’s honestly wild that DC has made Plastic Man sniffing Harley’s farts canon.

Given that Harley is wearing her mainstream continuity costume at the start of this issue, it’s safe to say this comic falls within mainstream continuity. That being said, DC has done Plastic Man extremely dirty by making him a fart-sniffer in canon—a reputation the Justice League hero will never shake. To make the bizarre level of intimacy between the two even more nauseating, O’Brian also passes gas while Harley is wearing him, essentially farting on her. This puts Harley Quinn and Plastic Man on a whole new level of getting to know each other—one that no one asked for.
