What did I like about the Himmaleh TAURUS HTX Hiking Shoes?
The boots were comfortable all through the trek and had fantastic breathability. My sweaty feet dried off quite easily in comparison to the other 3 models of decathlon boots that I have used.
The grip of the boots stands out in scree as well as in slopes and they are not very bad on slippery surface. The looks of the boot are good. Those who like it all in black would love it. The high ankle are well cushioned. However, some might find it difficult due to reduced ankle mobility.
What I did not like about the Himmaleh TAURUS HTX Hiking Shoes?
Ankle is high. Hence, those who are not used to wearing high ankle boots might find it a little uncomfortable in the beginning because it might reduce the ankle mobility.
Pros
- The best outsole amongst the 4 hiking shoes I have used so far
- Waterproofing is good
- The ankle height is high and it is well cushioned
- Toe box is spacious enough
- It's an Indian Brand
Cons
- Reduced ankle mobility due to high rise ankle
- Availability is usually limited
- No stores to try the boots for size
- Not many colours to choose from
- Not sure, if it is unisex and can be used by women
Final Verdict: Is Himmaleh TAURUS HTX Hiking Shoes worth buying?
One must have this as an option while purchasing boots. The quality is fantastic for the process point.
