Hina Tells Rosie To Move In With Kai In Rescue: HI-Surf Finale Sneak Peek [EXCLUSIVE]
Season 1 of Rescue: HI-Surf is coming to an end, and ScreenRant has an exclusive look at the finale. Created by Matt Kester, the series follows a group of heroic lifeguards on the North Shore of O'ahu as they save lives and navigate their personal relationships. It stars Robbie Magasiva as Harlan “Sonny” Jennings, Arielle Kebbel as Emily “Em” Wright, Adam Demos as Will Ready, Kekoa Kekumano as Laka Hanohano, Zoe Cipres as Hina Alexander, and Alex Aiono as Kainalu Emerson.
Rescue: HI-Surf's season finale is titled "Let Go" and airs Monday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. The official synopsis reads: "Hina and Kainalu assist the US Coast Guard in searching for two missing snorkelers left behind in the middle of the Ocean. Meanwhile, Captain Sonny takes matters into his own hands about Vince. Will and Julie meet for coffee and Em receives a job offer from a very rich person. Hina Fights Her Feelings For Kai
ScreenRant's clip of the Rescue: HI-Surf finale sees Rosie confide in Hina about asking Kai to move in. She worries he might say no, or she could scare him off. Despite liking Kai herself, Hina encourages Rosie to ask the question. She doesn't offer much additional advice and quickly exits, leaving the two alone.
Hina confessed her feelings to Kai in Rescue: HI-Surf season 1, episode 18, "Flowback, but he didn't have the most enthusiastic response. Kai was crazy about Hina since the moment they met, but eventually moved on. He's angry that she waited to be honest until he was dating Rosie, and the installment ends with Kai telling Hina that she's too late. Given her clear avoidance in the sneak peek, it's likely that Rescue: HI-Surf will readdress Hina's feelings before the finale concludes.
