I’ve Changed My Mind, The Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson & Joey Graziadei’s Long-Distance Relationship Is Keeping Them Strong

The Bachelorseason 28’s winning couple, Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, have been dealing with the backlash of Bachelor Nation for months, but I think their newly long-distance relationship is keeping their love strong. Throughout their time getting to know each other on The Bachelor season 28, Joey and Kelsey were open about the fact that they were hopeful about their relationship, but weren’t putting all their eggs in each other’s baskets. Even so, when Joey proposed to Kelsey during The Bachelor season finale, it wasn’t surprising to see her accept and their relationship begin to blossom after the season.

Throughout their post Bachelor life, Joey and Kelsey have run the gamut of emotional experiences. While the pair have been living life together to the fullest, they’ve been doing the best they can to share their relationship as openly and honestly as possible while still maintaining their privacy. Joey, who won Dancing With The Stars season 33 after his Bachelor season, has been doing a fair amount of traveling after his stint on the show, even after moving to Los Angeles with Kelsey and settling into a place of their own. With their relationship going long-distance, things haven’t been easy.

They’re still happy with each other and enjoying the development in their careers.

Although Joey’s time on Dancing With The Starswas difficult on his relationship with Kelsey in moments, the series was able to help Joey unlock a part of himself he hadn’t realized was there. Throughout Joey’s time in the competition, where he was partnered with professional dancer and multi-season winner Jenna Johnson, there were rumors surrounding the nature of their relationship outside of their partnership. Though Joey and Jenna weren’t more than dance partners and friends, some were concerned with the state of Joey’s relationship with Kelsey throughout DWTS. While both Joey and Kelsey rebuffed the rumors, it was difficult.

He enjoyed the series and, because he wound up being a great dancer, took the win, which led him to be a part of the DWTS tour. While Kelsey has been mostly spending her time in Los Angeles as of late, she’s had some incredible opportunities outside of her new home city that have helped to broaden her career as an influencer and content creator. Before her time on The Bachelor, Kelsey was working as a project manager, but after getting engaged to Joey and realizing how much traveling she’d be doing, she moved away from her original position and began reorganizing her life as an influencer. Content creation may not have been her original intention, but Kelsey’s gotten good at creating engaging content for her followers.

In recent months, Kelsey’s collaborated with brands of all sizes, working hard to establish herself as a voice that can be heard among the masses. On top of her collaborations on social media, she’s recently been invited to her hometown of New Orleans to be part of the famous Mardi Gras festivities. Getting the opportunity to judge the Greasing of the Poles at a local New Orleans hotel, Kelsey was able to partake in something that meant a lot to her, but gave her a brand-new perspective. Even without Joey by her side, she’s been establishing herself as an influencer.

Although Joey and Kelsey have been spending a fair bit of time apart, it’s clear that they’re still happy with each other and enjoying the development in their careers. For Joey, spending time on the Dancing With The Stars tour is allowing him to connect with something he’s been really enjoying. While he’s also spoken up about the idea of moving into TV in a new capacity moving forward, it’s clear he’s missing Kelsey. Sharing on his Instagram story that he was “missing this beautiful soul a lot” during his most recent DWTS leg, Joey wasn’t shy about showing affection.

For Kelsey, who’s been in Los Angeles a bit more than Joey, she’s been doing her best to stay busy while he’s been away. Even so, it’s been obvious that she’s excited to spend more time with Joey at home when things slow down for them. Though the pair have been apart more than they’ve been together recently, I think long-distance has been helping them both appreciate the connection they share even more as they’ve made strides in their independent careers. The Bachelor couples have been doing a great job handling time apart, making coming back together even sweeter.
