A team of ten officers from the Indian Navy undertook a trekking expedition with Indiahikes, facilitated by InSoul, to mark the run-up to Navy Day, celebrated annually on 4th December.
The officers, part of the Material Organisation Unit based in Visakhapatnam, chose the Surya Top trek as their way of commemorating the occasion this year.

The idea for this trek was initiated by Lt. Cdr. Roscillin Asem, an officer who has trekked with Indiahikes before and had long been keen to do it again — this time with his Navy team.
The team began their trek on 24th November and will complete it on 29th November.
They are returning from the mountains in high spirits, marking a meaningful lead-up to Navy Day through a trek that blended camaraderie and celebration.
For Indiahikes and InSoul, this was the first time hosting a team from the Indian Navy, making the occasion doubly significant.
