Bee and PuppyCat closed out season 2 in September 2022, and since then, fans have been patiently waiting for news about season 3. Originally starting out as an animated series on YouTube, Bee and PuppyCat first released in 2014, with the rest of its 9 episodes coming out on the online video platform over the next two years. This odd rollout was buoyed by the fact that the show's creator, Natasha Allegri, had previously worked on Adventure Time. The shows share similar design elements, which helped viewers trust that the series would be worth the time.

Similar in tone as well as art-style to Adventure Time, Bee and PuppyCat follows Bee (Allyn Rachel), an unemployed woman in her 20s who encounters a strange creature named PuppyCat, a cat-dog hybrid who she goes on various adventures with which are also ways to earn money so that she can pay her rent. The second series premiered in Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space in September 2022 on Netflix and continued the adventures in 16 episodes. Since the season 2 premiere, there has not been very much information about season 3 and what's next for Bee and PuppyCat.

Unfortunately for fans of Bee and PuppyCat, there has been no news at all regarding season 3. There have been no updates or confirmations for the next stage of the show. However, that doesn't mean the show is officially canceled. Allegri continues to post her art online on @natazilla, and while it's not official art, it shows she's clearly still interested in the show, or at least creating something in a similar style to Bee and PuppyCat. The official Instagram for @beeandpuppycatshow also posts semi-regularly, which means the show hasn't been forgotten about by its creators.

PuppyCat only speaks in electronic beeps, so no voice actor would need to return for his part.

There has been no news about what Bee and PuppyCat season 3 could entail, but based on the ending of season 2, there are still some questions that need answering. For one, Bee and PuppyCat need to be reunited after the ending of season 2, which will likely happen in the premiere, unless that becomes a season-long arc, which could prove unpopular. The mystery about Bee's parentage is still something that could be revealed. Bee and PuppyCat season 3 will also likely just be about paying rent on time, and that's what most fans are hoping for.
