"John Cena Is Still My Hero": Belgium WWE Fan Responds After Being Called Out By John Cena
John Cena's first opportunity to speak to the WWE fans following his shocking heel turn at the Elimination Chamber was on the March 17 episode of WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium. Many moments from that promo went viral, but one of the most shocking came when Cena directly addressed a young fan fully dressed in Cena merchandise.
"What have you ever done to support me?" Cena said in the midst of his rant against the crowd. The young fan responded by shouting, "I love you!" which caught Cena's attention.
"Everybody, including that one kid right there is a toxic, dysfunctional relationship," Cena said.
The Viral John Cena Fan Speaks Out
The Young Man Was Still Happy To Be Acknowledged By His Hero
The TikTok account @berko_wwe managed to find the fan and interview him after the clip went viral. Surprisingly, Cena's words didn't shake the fan's love for the 16-time world champion.
“Since I was four years old, I have been a fan of John Cena. He’s been my hero for ten years now and he’s my favorite superstar,” the fan said. “I paid to go and see him. ...When he pointed at me, it was a source of pride for me that he pointed the finger at me because I didn’t know he was going to talk down to me. And then I understood that he said toxic, dysfunctional and I understood, but it’s in his character [as a] heel, so I understand it. But for me, John Cena is still my hero.”
The fan followed up by saying he's just as much of a Cena fan as he was before the viral moment. Cena will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 on April 20.
Cena Vows To "Ruin Wrestling"
He's Going After WWE's Record Books
Cena followed up his initial promo with yet another on this week's WWE Raw - only this time he revealed his master plan to get revenge on WWE fans for what he views as 25 years of abuse. He vowed to win the WWE Championship for a record 17th time at WrestleMania, then retire with it.

Every Time the WWE Championship Was Vacated
The WWE Championship's lineage has been broken many times over the years.
In his mind, that will "ruin" the lineage of the championship as he'll retire as the last "real" champion and whoever WWE crowns as the new champion following his departure will be forced to carry a "toy belt." Cena is scheduled to appear on the March 31 episode of WWE Raw and, reportedly, will not be on WWE TV again after that show until his match with Rhodes.
