Juventus started preparations for their coming Serie A clash with Udinese, seeing positive signs from star winger Federico Chiesa.
The Bianconeri suffered a possibly fatal 1-0 loss to rivals Inter in the Derby d’Italia on the weekend, a result that now leaves them four points behind the league leaders, having played once more than Simone Inzaghi’s side.
Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus are now on the backfoot in the Serie A title race, putting the pressure on them to pick up consistent results in the coming weeks to maintain pace with Inter, who still haven’t won a Scudetto under Inzaghi.
Football Italia understands that Federico Chiesa joined his Juventus teammates in the squad training session at Continassa today, seemingly shaking off the minor foot scare he suffered following the loss to Inter.
It was a different story for Dusan Vlahovic, who carried out his individual exercises. Whilst the Italian winger is expected to feature against Udinese, the Serbian striker is in doubt for the match.
Allegri and his Juventus squad will resume training at Continassa on Thursday morning, continuing their preparations for the Udinese match.
