Atalanta are still without star midfielder Teun Koopmeiners for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Lazio, as they defend fourth place.
Despite having a game in hand against Inter, La Dea are still clear in that precious fourth Champions League berth and face a direct rival for Europe on Sunday afternoon.
Lazio are only two points behind them – again with a game in hand due to their Supercoppa Italiana participation in Saudi Arabia last month.
Koopmeiners had been hoping to make his comeback from injury, but is still out of action, along with Jose Luis Palomino and January signing Isak Hien.
Also unavailable is Ademola Lookman, who can’t seem to stop scoring for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Charles De Ketelaere and Gianluca Scamacca could therefore again start together with Mario Pasalic in that trequartista role.
As for Lazio, Danilo Cataldi is suspended with Mattia Zaccagni and Gil Patric injured.
Nicoló Rovella is not at 100 per cent either, while Maurizio Sarri must choose between Ciro Immobile back from his ban and Taty Castellanos.
