Married At First Sight Season 18: Allen Slovick Responds To Critics After His Shocking Model Background Is Outed & Slammed
Married At First Sightseason 18’s Allen Slovick has been one of the most interesting parts of the series, but viewers have uncovered his past and slammed him, getting a response from the MAFS participant. Allen, who’s married to Married At First Sight season 18’s Madison Myers within the experiment, has had a tough time as he’s moved through the season. While the beginning of MAFS made Allen seem like he was one of the most grounded parts of the show, things changed quickly when he started to show some less-than-ideal behavior. Allen’s now being slammed for his modeling background.
Within a post from spoiler account MAFSFanon Instagram that revealed Allen had modeled in the past on local morning TV, the MAFS star replied to a few comments calling him out for his background to make it clear that things weren’t necessarily as cut and dry as they seemed. One MAFS fan, @soniamt_61, shared that she originally believed the MAFS season 18 cast “were recruited by the producers from an agency”, Allen replied sharing that the modeling gig “was just helping out a friend” and he had applied for the show despite some people speculating that he was recruited.
What Allen's Modeling Background & Response Means
Allen’s Not Necessarily Who MAFS Fans Think
Although Allen’s not necessarily who Married At First Sight viewers thought he was when he showed up on MAFS, his appearance on a local morning show doesn’t change who he is on MAFS. While Allen may have “modeled” for a segment on a morning news show, he isn’t a professional model by any means and shared that he was only in the segment to help out a friend. While Married At First Sight fans may be looking for any reason to explain Allen’s sketchy behavior in the last episodes of the series, his modeling isn’t the right place to look.
Throughout Married At First Sight season 18, viewers have been watching Allen closely and enjoying him until very recently. With Allen’s dangerous drunk driving having rubbed viewers the wrong way, many are now looking for any possible reason to turn against the MAFS star. Despite knowing that Allen has some behavior to apologize for, it’s clear that he’s still the kind-hearted guy who viewers were getting to know on the series, and an incredibly short stint modeling for his friend’s morning show segment doesn’t change that. While Allen’s more layered than MAFS viewers anticipated, his character hasn’t been totally destroyed.
Our Take On Allen's Modeling & Defense
He Seems Like He’s Being Upfront About His Past
Although Allen’s behavior on Married At First Sighthas been somewhat difficult to get behind, it’s been clear that his mistakes on the series aren’t something he’s proud of. Allen has a lot to discuss about his MAFS appearance after the season finishes airing, but he’s been fairly upfront about who he is and what he stands for during his time on the series, which has made him someone viewers can root for. While some are dragging Married At First Sight season 18’s Allen for his past, his future is what viewers of the show should be interested in.
