Pokémon's Horizons Finally Teases Scarlet and Violet's Best Location, And Fans Have Every Reason To Get Hyped
Pokémon Horizons just teased the Blueberry Academy, one of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's DLC areas, for the first time, setting up the area for a visit by its protagonists in the future. Blueberry Academy happens to be one of the most unique and interesting areas of the game, and holds a lot of opportunities to introduce new characters, like Kieran, or bring back old ones.
Pokémon Horizons has already made the first DLC area, Kitakami, a part of its story, as Kitakami turned out to be the home of one of the Six Heroes, Kleavor. It also offered a chance to meet some of the characters from the DLC, such as Perrin and Carmine, with the former playing an important role in their attempts to find Kleavor. Both Carmine and Perrin also appear in the Blueberry Academy part of the DLC, meaning that they could potentially make return appearances if Liko and Roy really do head that way.

Will the Series Ultimately Pay a Visit to Blueberry Academy?
In the episode, Liko is talking to her roommate, Ann, who was apparently contacted by Director Cyrano of Blueberry Academy to potentially come out there as part of an exchange program. Ann's battling skills have apparently caught his attention, and she is considering going there. Ann being at Blueberry Academy would be the perfect excuse for Liko and Roy to pay the place a visit, and there's plenty going on at the school to keep the story busy.
In the games, Blueberry Academy is located in the Unova region, but is actually offshore; the crown jewel of the academy is the Terarium, a giant underwater dome that provides several distinct habits, allowing for a wide variety of wild Pokémon to live right there on campus. Blueberry Academy is even home to some Pokémon that are highly endangered or thought to be extinct in the wild, such as Hisuian Qwilfish. While Blueberry Academy's story, which builds on the events of the DLC's first chapter, wouldn't make sense for Horizons, some of its characters could well appear.
Fan-Favorite Blueberry Academy Characters Could Appear
A Trip to Blueberry Academy Could Introduce Popular Characters to the Anime
The Blueberry Academy DLC introduced a lot of new characters, as well as brought some back from the first DLC. Carmine's brother, Kieran, could potentially make an appearance, although he would likely be quite different than he is in the games. The Blueberry Academy Elite Four are also some popular characters from that DLC, and would make excellent battle partners. Blueberry Academy is also the home of Ms. Briar, an expert on Terapagos, who might be able to help Liko get it to leave its ball again.
Many of Scarlet and Violet's characters have had a chance to appear on Horizons by now, so it's only fair that the Blueberry crew get their chance to shine as well. A visit to the school seems inevitable now, but it's up to Pokémon Horizons to come up with a good reason for the heroes to pay it a visit.
