"Raw Moments!": Million Dollar Secret's Sydnee Falkner's Known For Her Red Flags But She's Showing Her Softer Side While Talking About The Season (Does She Really Deserve Her Villain Edit?)
Sydnee Falkner pushed several cast members' buttons while filming Netflix's Million Dollar Secret, but now, she's showing her softer side. She was portrayed as someone the other Million Dollar Secret cast members needed to get out due to her aggressive personality, strong competition skills, and manipulation tactics. Sydnee did not win the million-dollar grand prize and was eliminated in the final four.
Million Dollar Secret's Sydnee Falkner was a polarizing figure. She came into the game lying about her profession in hopes it would make her seem like less of a threat. Unfortunately for Sydnee, she was seen as a threat regardless. Fans of the show even saw her as the villain of the season. However, a recent interview may change that perception.
Sydnee Falkner's Talking About The Season's Emotional Moments
It Wasn't All Scheming
In an exclusive interview with Mirror ahead of the Million Dollar Secret season 1 finale, Sydnee admitted that not every moment between the cast was tense and full of plotting. They also had moments of having fun and laughing together. The cast of the Netflix reality competition series is all in a group chat.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
That being said, Sydnee said there's tension in the group chat. This insight isn't necessarily surprising, as the show had a ton of drama and tense moments. It stands to reason that the cast members would have opinions about each other and the experiences they went through, and those feelings would carry over into the real world.
Sydnee Says Shade From Fans Hurts Her
She Was Just Playing A Game
Unfortunately for reality TV cast members, they can't control how they're perceived by the audiences of the shows they're on. Sydnee didn't think of herself as the villain of the season, although she does think she was an interesting player. In her interview, she noted that "it is tens of thousands of hours edited down to 45-minute episodes," so viewers aren't getting the whole picture of what happened during the game. Sydnee was surprised that fans perceived her so differently from how she perceived herself.
How Sydnee Got A Villain Edit
She Played An Interesting Game
According to Sydnee, a lot of her villain edit came from episode 3, when she tried to get Lauren Jean eliminated. Sydnee felt Lauren was a threat, as she had successfully lied to the cast for two episodes about being the millionaire before transferring the money to someone else. In Sydnee's defense, Lauren was a good liar, as not enough people had caught onto her being the millionaire to eliminate her. However, it was confusing why Sydnee wanted Lauren out when Lauren was the only person guaranteed not to be in possession of the million dollars.
Sydnee won a lot of competitions, ending up in the trophy room more than any other contestant.
Her win streak made her a threat, and instead of acting humble about her prowess, she seemed cocky. On top of that, Sydnee is a beautiful, tall, athletic, blonde woman, and her appearance, coupled with some confident comments, likely led to her villain edit. It's also possible she showed a softer side while filming Million Dollar Secret that audiences will never see, as the producers can only show so much in a short amount of time.
