However, it was confusing why Sydnee wanted Lauren out when Lauren was the only person guaranteed not to be in possession of the million dollars.

Her win streak made her a threat, and instead of acting humble about her prowess, she seemed cocky. On top of that, Sydnee is a beautiful, tall, athletic, blonde woman, and her appearance, coupled with some confident comments, likely led to her villain edit.
