Red Alert! Over 10 Hit Anime Are About to Leave Streaming
Hidive is a major anime streaming platform that boasts over 500 series available for streaming, and they recently released their jam-packed spring 2025 lineup. A recent post by Hidive announced five new series that fans can check out on the platform next month.
Although many new animes will be available on Hidive soon, unfortunately, over ten are leaving to make room for these new series. All of these shows will be available until the beginning of April, so fans have a few more weeks to watch them before they have to say goodbye.
Over Ten Anime Series Are Being Removed From Hidive's Lineup
New Shows Are Coming to Hidive in April, but Old Series Are Leaving to Make Room
The list of anime series exiting Hidive in April 2025 includes Hentai Prince & the Stony Cat, Real Girl, Revue Starlight, ALICE or ALICE, Flowers of Evil, Utano Prince Sama 2000%, Cutie Honey Universe, Yuyushiki, DOREIKU The Animation, Devil Survivor 2: The Animation, Locke The Superman, Venus Wars, Utano Prince Sama 1000%, andLove, Chunibyo and Other Delusions - Take on Me! The Hidive website includes a schedule of when each of these animes will no longer be available on the streaming platform, with some staying until the end of the month and some leaving as early as the first of April.
It is not uncommon for series to come and go on Hidive's anime streaming platform, although it may be a disappointment for fans of these shows. In early 2025, Giant Beasts of ARS, Spy Classroom, and Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible were all removed from Hidive. Often, animes are taken off of the streaming platform for licensing reasons, because these contracts between the series themselves and the streaming platform have an end date. For the fourteen series leaving Hidive this upcoming month, it is possible that the contracts between Hidive and these shows have simply expired.

These New Offerings Include All-New Series and English Dubs of Existing Series
Anime fans need not despair though, because although Hidive is losing over ten shows next month, five new ones will take their place. According to an announcement on Hidive's website, the new animes that will be unveiled soon are Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentoushou, Rock is a Lady’s Modesty, and Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way from Another World, as well as the English dub versions of Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! and From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! With genres spanning from isekai to comedy, there is a lot of variety in Hidive's lineup.

Some of Hidive's most beloved series may be leaving next month, but the platform will also be releasing a thrilling spring 2025 line-up that fans won't want to miss to make up for it.
