Several Major Titles Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass This Month, Including Highly-Acclaimed Souls-Like
Several big games are geared to leave Xbox Game Pass in March, including the popular 2023 Souls-like Pinocchio-inspired Lies of P. The game pass subscription gives fans access to over 300 Xbox titles which they can play freely as long as they have an active subscription. Every month, more hit games are added to the games catalog, but some games are also slated to leave the subscription service.
The games scheduled to be removed from the Xbox Game Pass in March 2025 include Lies of P, two Yakuza games, and a few more titles. In total, there are eight games leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup in the coming month, according to the official Xbox website. These games will be playable until their removal date, March 16.
Lies Of P & More Leaves Xbox Game Pass This Month
A Few Familiar Faces Are Departing From The Service
At the moment, eight games are officially leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 16. The titles scheduled for removal are:
- Lies of P (NEOWIZ)
- Evil West (Focus Entertainment)
- MLB The Show 24 (MLB)
- No More Heroes 3 (Marvelous Inc.)
- Solar Ash (Annapurna Interactive)
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikiki Bottom (THQ Nordic)
- Yakuza 5 Remastered (SEGA)
- Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (SEGA of America, Inc.)
Lies of P is a steampunk retelling of the story of Pinnochio, featuring a dark world where you play as a puppet trying to find your place in the world. Players must battle through an unforgiving world using special abilities and cruel weapons, and decide when to tell the truth and when it's kinder or more beneficial to lie.

PS Plus Is Finally Countering Xbox Game Pass, But It Needs To Move Faster
Game Pass received an amazing day-one released RPG with Avowed. PlayStation Plus getting Dragon Age 4 next month is a solid counter for RPG fans.
Among the other titles leaving the catalog are Yakuza 5 and 6, which follow the saga of Kazuma Kiryu across Japan in a tale about family bonds. The smaller platformer Solar Ash from the makers of Hyper Light Drifter and publisher Annapurna Interactive is also leaving, along with a number of other excellent games. Players only have two more weeks to try them out before they're no longer available to play as part of the subscription.
Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In March 2025
As Eight Games Depart From The Service, New Titles Arrive
It might be too late to start an epic two-game journey through the Yakuza franchise or romp through the dark streets of Lies of P, but there's some good news, too. Three new games will be added to the service in March, including two day-one releases. All the new games coming to the Xbox Game Pass in March 2025 are:
- 33 Immortals (arriving March 18)
- SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato (arriving March 26 as a day one release)
- Atomfall (arriving March 27 as a day one release)
Keep in mind that this might not be the end of the March announcements. As the month progresses, it's possible that more games will be added to the list of titles coming to or leaving from the Xbox Game Pass.
