Silent Hill Transmission: How To Watch & What To Expect (March 2025)

The Silent Hill series is a renowned survival horror series developed by Konami. Despite how long Silent Hill has spent in the public eye, it is still a strong title in the gaming community, and has been adapted into many different spin-offs over the years—even inspiring two movies. Recently, Konami has started teasing new info via Silent Hill Transmissions, with a new one scheduled for March 2025.

Fans of Silent Hill have been particularly lucky over the last few years, with remakes of previous games and a brand-new addition to the series being announced. Although each release follows a new protagonist and story, they are all centered around the same eerie town of Silent Hill. However, it appears the next game in the franchise will be taking a very different turn. More news will be shared during the March 2025 Transmission. So, when and where can you watch it?

What To Expect From Silent Hill Transmission (March 2025)

An Update On Silent Hill F Has Been Confirmed

Later this week, Konami will be hosting a transmission livestream where fans can expect to receive the latest news on the upcoming Silent Hill f,the newest addition to the franchise being developed by NeoBards Entertainment and written by Ryukishi07. Given Ryukishi07's work on previous psychological horror titles, fans can expect the new release to be a deeply unsettling yet wonderfully crafted narrative experience. It hasn't been specified if the transmission will cover any of the Bloober Team's Silent Hill remakes, and it seems that fans will have to wait a little longer for major information on them.

Fans still don't have a lot of specific gameplay details, but considering how the transmission is planned to "uncover" the game, this may be the first look at different mechanics and how they will differ from the previous releases.

The next Silent Hill is going to take a slightly different direction than the previous games and movies, which took place in the fictional American town of the same name. Instead, Silent Hill f will have the unique setting of 1960s rural Japan, with an almost completely fresh background for storytelling. Though this is just speculation, it's quite likely that the game will be inspired by the Japanese city "Shizuoka," which roughly translates to "Silent Hill."

The Silent Hill transmission officially goes live on March 13, at 3:00pm Pacific Daylight Time. There is currently not an official link, but fans can expect to see the broadcast on the official Konami YouTube Channel. It will also be available from theSilent Hill website, similarly to the previous transmission where Silent Hill f was announced.

We don't have a release date for Silent Hill f at this moment in time, but it's very possible that this could be revealed in the transmission now that the game is ready for showcase. Since we haven't heard much of it since the trailer in 2022 hinted at its ties to the rest of the series, fans should be very excited and be sure to tune in. Even though we currently only have a few details, Silent Hill f is shaping up to be revolutionary.
