Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Reveals How She’s Celebrating Valentine’s Day Amid Fan Concerns Over David Woolley’s Pushover Behavior
Sister Wives star Christine Brown Woolley shared her big plans for Valentine's Day, and they might not involve her husband, David Woolley. Christine and David have been married since October 2023, making this their second Valentine's Day as husband and wife. Christine is still basking in the glow of her marriage, but the couple has received some criticism over David possibly being a pushover in their relationship, with their critics also questioning whether they're actually happy, something that Christine recently addressed when she claimed she's very happy.
Sister Wives star Christine Brown shared some of her Valentine's Day secrets with fans.
Christine posted a photo of herself on Instagram in which she blew a kiss to the camera while wearing a royal blue top, her hair tied up in a messy ponytail. The Sister Wives star wanted to share some of her secrets for a sweet holiday treat. She added words to the photo that read, "Comment RECIPE below and I'll send you two of my favorite chocolate recipes for Valentine's Day."
In the caption, Christine added, "I thought I would give you a few of my yummy chocolate recipes for Valentine’s Day tomorrow! Specifically, my Chocolate Bourbon pie and Texas Sheet Cake Brownies! So good!" In the comments section, fans already began taking Christine up on her offer, with many writing, "RECIPE," and receiving a comment back from Christine herself, telling them to check their DMs. While some probably expected Christine's Valentine's Day message to include her husband, this post is special for Christine's fans, whom she has shared her life with since Sister Wives began.
What Christine Brown Getting Fans Involved In Her Valentine's Day Plans Means
Christine Loves Engaging With Fans
Christine has always been a maternal figure. With six kids of her own with Kody Brown, and 12 more kids from Janelle Brown, Robyn Brown and Meri Brown, plus David's eight kids, Christine has had plenty of practice being a nurturing mom. Since she's a public figure with a large following, she enjoys sharing things like lifestyle tips and big updates with her fans. Christine has also been vulnerable online, letting people in on her healing journey as she left the comfort of the plural marriage to embark on a new life, which has been inspiring to see.
Christine met her new husband, David, after leaving Kody in November 2021. By February 2023, they were officially a couple. Viewers watched their whirlwind romance unfold throughout much of Sister Wives season 19, including her children's hesitancy with the relationship due to the fact that it moved so fast.
Despite that, Christine and David officially got engaged in April that year, and got married in October. Although some fans think David's casual demeanor makes him a "pushover," Christine loves that David lets her run the show, which was very different from the dynamics in her marriage to Kody. She has also pushed back on claims that David isn't happy in their marriage, sharing a video montage of them together on Instagram, saying they couldn't be happier.
Our Take On Christine Brown Sharing Her Recipe For Valentine’s Day
Christine No Longer Has To Share Valentine's Day With Other Wives
When Christine was married to Kody in a plural family, she rarely got time to celebrate milestones with Kody solo. With the exception of birthdays and anniversaries, most of the time, the Browns celebrated as a group. One has to assume that also meant Valentine's Day, which could get awkward when there are four wives. Her recipe post on Instagram shows that she's fully embracing the spirit of the romantic holiday now that she's in a healthy marriage, and is excited to share the fun of the holiday with Sister Wives fans through her recipes.
