Sister Wives: Signs "Pushover" David Woolley Will Regret Letting Christine Brown Pressure Him Into Appearing On The Show
Sister Wives star Christine Brown pressured her new husband, David Woolley, into appearing on the show, and there are signs he'll come to regret it. David is 53-year-old Christine's second husband. When she made her television debut in 2010, she was the third wife of polygamist patriarch Kody Brown. In 2021, after 27 years of marriage and six children together, Christine left Kody, and the rest of the polygamous family.
When all was said and done, Kody had four wives and 18 children. Christine was the first of Kody's wives to leave him, but she wasn't the last. By the time Sister Wives season 19 premiered, Kody was in a monogamous marriage with his fourth wife, 45-year-old Robyn Brown. Christine's new marriage is entirely monogamous, which seems to work better for her, but the fact that she pressured her new husband into appearing on the show may come back to haunt her.
Christine & David Moved Too Fast
Whirlwind Romance
Christine met David soon after leaving Kody, and they dated for less than a year before moving in together. Christine's decision to move in with a man she wasn't married to was surprising, especially because her youngest child, Truely Brown, was still living with her at the time. It was a major departure from who Christine was and a sign that the Sister Wives season 19 star had changed dramatically since leaving Kody.
David Didn't Want To Be On The Show
Christine Pressured Him
In an interview with People, David joked that he had been pressured into appearing on the show. During the same interview, Christine confessed that David didn't want to join the cast of Sister Wives season 19, but he did it for her. Though it's nice that David wants to make Christine happy, they may both come to regret airing their relationship so publicly.
Will David Be Back For Season 20?
If Christine Wants Him To Be Back
Despite some fans accusing David of being a pushover, he and Christine appear to be very happy together. There's no reason to think that David won't be back for Sister Wives season 20. While Christine was used to airing her dirty laundry on television, being a public figure was new to David, but he seemed to be handling it fairly well. If that changes, he may come to resent Christine for pushing him into being on Sister Wives.
