Since James decided not to hand himself in to law enforcement officers and explain why he killed Quinn’s man, the couple couldn’t be together because he went on the run. Although Sophie left James at the airport, it wasn’t clear if he actually left England. James usually comes to his wife’s aid whenever she is in trouble, so the possibility still remains that he might not leave so that he could help her in her time of need.
Who Really Killed Emma In Surface & Why
Oliver Huntley Murdered Emma
In Surface season 1, the biggest mystery was about what caused Sophie to fake her death. Surface season 2, however, delved into what really happened to Emma. Throughout the show’s episodes, clues about Emma were revealed. Initially, Sophie believed that her father was the one who killed Emma so that the world wouldn’t find out that he had another daughter. However, that wasn’t what had occurred.
In the third act of Surface season 2, episode 8, Olivia explains to Eliza that she didn’t know who Emma was and that her death was an accident.
When Sophie was a child, she and her mother went to the Huntley estate in the middle of the night. Olivia Huntley, Eliza’s mother, shot Emma, thinking that she was an intruder. In the third act of Surface season 2, episode 8, Olivia explains to Eliza that she didn’t know who Emma was and that her death was an accident. While it’s true that Emma’s death wasn’t planned, the fact that the Huntleys went on and kept what had occurred a secret points to the type of people they are and the lengths they would go to to avoid any type of scandal.
Why Henry Kills His Father, William Huntley, In Surface Season 2's Ending
William Huntely Is The One Who Took Sophie To An Orphanage
For the Huntleys, keeping secrets hidden was second nature. Although this need to keep a squeaky image didn’t begin with William Huntley, he passed it onto his son, Henry, who in turn taught his children to do the same. During Quinn and Grace’s wedding, Henry confronted his father about why he took Sophie away from him. William kept Sophie away from his family because he didn’t want anyone to find out that Henry had fathered a child with a woman he wasn’t married to.
It's William’s confession about how he really feels about Sophie that drives Henry to the edge. He smothers his father with a pillow and walks away. The Huntley’s clearly have a complicated relationship, and Henry has had a difficult time forgiving his father for the things that he did do in the name of protecting his family. But ultimately, Henry became the kind of person he never wanted to be by letting his anger get the best of him and mercilessly murdering his frail father.
