Tamagotchi Is Taking On Animal Crossing & Disney Dreamlight Valley In New Game Tamagotchi Plaza

Nintendo has just announced Bandai Namco's follow-up to the beloved shop simulator Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop games, titled Tamagotchi Plaza. With the last Corner Shop game released way back in 2008, players have been waiting quite some time for a new addition to this franchise. Between running shops and keeping customers happy, these cute games have always been a brilliant escape, and now, a modern-day entry gives new players the chance to enjoy this series.

Announced at Thursday's Nintendo Direct, Tamagotchi Plaza is set for release on June 27. As the latest entry in the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series, this game once again sees players taking the reins of running a plethora of in-game shops, from a dentist's office to an afternoon tea shop, serving customers and keeping them satisfied. With a good evaluation, players will move towards big upgrades and progress further into what the game has to offer.

Any players who enjoy cozy games should feel right at home in Tamagotchi Plaza, as they'll be given the chance to take care of stores in this sweet little town. With 12 types of shops available, such as a dentist's office, an afternoon tea shop, an eyewear shop, and more yet to be revealed, players are tasked with keeping customers happy and completing their store's tasks, upgrading them over time. The more shops upgrade, the more vibrant and bustling the town becomes, with new customers and packed outdoor areas.
