Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz commented on Juventus’ Instagram post, which confirmed the signing of his namesake from Southampton: ‘I’ll try my best, thanks for the trust.’
Juventus confirmed Alcaraz’s signature from Southampton on Wednesday on an initial loan deal with an option to buy for €49.5m. The 21-year-old Argentinean star is expected to land in Italy in the coming hours after sorting out his visa.
His namesake, Carlos Alcaraz, a Spanish tennis star and Wimbledon winner in 2023, jokingly reacted to the latest Juventus signing by commenting on the Old Lady’s Instagram post confirming the deal.
“I’ll try my best, thanks for the trust,” wrote the Spaniard in one of the over 100,000 comments in the post.
