The White Lotus Season 3 Episode 8 Trailer Teases “A Wonderful Last Day” At The Resort
Warning: SPOILERS ahead for The White Lotus season 3, episode 7!The White Lotus season 3, episode 8 trailer teases "a wonderful last day" at the resort, hinting at how the show's many character stories will end. The White Lotus season 3 has many major storylines coming to a head, such as Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) being offered hush money from Greg, or Gary (Jon Gries), while Timothy (Jason Isaacs) feels hopeless about his work situation. In the meantime, Rick (Walton Goggins) wasn't able to go through with his planned revenge against Jim Hollinger (Scott Glenn), while Laurie (Carrie Coon) has broken off from her friends after their falling out.
Now, Max has released a new trailer for The White Lotus season 3, episode 8, hinting at just how dramatic the final episode is going to be. It begins with Timothy asking about poisonous fruit on a tree before cutting between the show's various stories. This includes Belinda denying the money Greg is offering her, Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) telling his supervisor about the identity of the robbers, and Rick reuniting with Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood). Laurie is also seemingly starting to regret the argument she had with her friends.
Various flashes in the trailer hint at other events, including the shooting from the premiere episode happening again, someone swallowing something, a person drowning, and a body bag being carted away on a stretcher. Curiously, Gaitok can be seen running through the forest with a gun, hinting that he may be involved in the gunshots from season 3, episode 1's flash forward. Check out the full trailer below:
What The White Lotus' New Trailer Means For The Season 3 Finale
Every Story Is Building With Plenty Of Tension
All the characters in The White Lotus season 3 are reaching the apex of their stories, bringing about intense buildup as the season comes to a close. Belinda and Greg's conflict seems central to the episode, as it's the only ongoing storyline that's been happening since season 1. As for the others, it seems the Ratliff family could become fractured, not only due to Timothy wanting to die, but also because Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola) might be staying at the monastery. Laurie, on the other hand, could gain the opportunity to apologize to her friends.

The White Lotus Season 3 Episode 7 Ending Explained: How It Sets Up The Finale
The ending of The White Lotus season 3, episode 7 brought many plot points to a head, teasing an explosive finale for all major storylines.
As for the shooting, Rick got rid of his gun in The White Lotus season 3, episode 7 after being unable to kill Jim, meaning the shooting can only happen from the gun in Gaitok's possession. Based on the setup, he could be chasing down the Russians who orchestrated the robbery, tying into his conversation with Mook (Lalisa Manobal) about lacking a "killer instinct" in the latest episode. However, that doesn't mean he's the culprit, either, as anything could happen based on whose possession the gun falls into during the final hour.
The White Lotus was renewed for season 4 ahead of its season 3 premiere.
Our Take On The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Trailer
Someone Major Is Going To Die
The final trailer confirmed someone important is going to die before the season ends, with the darkness of many storylines signaling some key candidates. This includes Timothy, who already feels like he can't tell his family about the probe happening back home, Belinda, given Greg's presence, and Gaitok, who could die trying to bring the robbery's culprits to justice. With one episode left, The White Lotus isn't offering any substantial hints about who will die, not how everyone's story will conclude.
The White Lotus season 3, episode 8, "Amor Fati," airs Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and Max.
