Trawoc Dynamite 65L Backpack Review
When choosing a trekking backpack, four things matter most: comfort, ease of use, durability, and capacity. A pack doesn’t need to be expensive — it simply needs to perform well on these parameters to earn your trust on the trail.
In this detailed Trawoc Dynamite 65L Backpack review, I’ll walk you through how this surprisingly affordable pack has held up over more than five years of use across treks, travel, and long journeys.
Comfort- (3/5)
For a budget-friendly 65L backpack, the Trawoc Dynamite offers impressive comfort — especially for beginners who often end up carrying more than necessary. It includes all the essential straps: padded shoulder straps, a supportive waist belt, a sternum strap, and load adjusters. These help distribute weight decently well, even when the pack is full.
However, comfort is closely tied to how you pack this bag. Without an internal frame or rigid back, the load can shift if not organised properly. On one trek, clothes bunched up to one side, causing the pack to lean and press slightly into the back. Still, with smart packing or packing cubes, this remains mostly manageable.
Overall, it offers reliable comfort for the price point.
Ease of Use- (3/5)
The Trawoc Dynamite 65L keeps things simple. It has multiple pockets, compartments, and accessible spaces, making it straightforward to organise gear. The zippers are smooth and surprisingly durable, the top opening is wide, and the bag includes all necessary straps for adjusting fit and stability.
The downside is the side pockets. Their semi-circular design makes them difficult to zip with one hand, and when the main compartment is packed full, these pockets lose most of their usable space. You often need to push socks or smaller items forcefully just to make them fit.
Still, for its price, the pack offers more organisation than many others in this range.
Durability- (4/5)
This is where the Trawoc Dynamite shines far beyond expectations.
Since 2021, the pack has survived multiple flights, bus journeys, and train rides — all notorious for rough handling. The fabric, though not the premium ripstop nylon seen in Deuter or Osprey packs, is surprisingly tough. Zippers have held up flawlessly. No buckle has broken. No strap has loosened. Only one deep scratch appeared on the back padding due to airport handling, and it was easy to stitch.
For a bag priced under ₹2,000, this level of durability is exceptional.
Capacity- (5/5)
At 65 litres, the Trawoc Dynamite offers ample space for long trips and heavy packing. It’s ideal for trekkers who carry bulky winter layers or beginners who tend to pack extra.
However, the lack of an internal frame affects how the capacity feels. When the bag isn’t packed carefully, items can shift and create uneven weight distribution. For structured packing — especially for multi-day Himalayan treks — you’ll benefit from using packing cubes or ranger rolls.
For travel and general trekking, though, the capacity is more than sufficient.
Price and Value for Money- (5/5)
At ₹1,677, the Trawoc Dynamite 65L is one of the most affordable large-capacity packs in the market. And given its durability, usable features, water-resistant fabric, and included rain cover, it offers outstanding value.
This is not a premium technical backpack. But as a reliable beginner-friendly option, it’s hard to beat.
Final Verdict: Is it worth it?
The Trawoc Dynamite 65L is a dependable, budget-friendly backpack that performs far better than expected for its price. While the lack of an internal frame, bulky structure, and limited side pocket usability are notable drawbacks, the bag’s durability, comfort, and impressive lifespan make it a strong contender for beginners or travellers who want a heavy-duty pack without investing big money.
If you’re looking for a tough, affordable 65L rucksack that isn’t stylish but absolutely gets the job done, the Trawoc Dynamite 65L is worth considering.
