Nico Gonzalez scored Fiorentina’s fourth goal against Frosinone on Sunday and joked during a post-match interview: ‘I didn’t even know I had a right foot.’
The Argentinean winger started his first Serie A game in nearly three months on Sunday, contributing to Fiorentina’s 5-1 win over Frosinone, their first victory in 2024.
Nico bagged the fourth goal for the Tuscans with a right-foot volley at the far post at minute 53.

It was his 10th Serie A goal in 22 appearances across all competitions in 2023-24.
Speaking with DAZN Italia after the final whistle, the Argentina international joked about his goal: “I didn’t even know I had a right foot,” said the 25-year-old smiling.
Nico has now scored four goals from 20 with his right foot at Fiorentina. He had already found the net with his ‘weak foot’ in a 3-1 victory over Napoli in October.
