Serie B side Palermo may have just claimed their most high-profile supporter to date, as Aquaman actor Jason Momoa has appeared on social media donning the club’s famous pink strip.
Momoa featured in a series of videos on Palermo’s official instagram page, wearing the club’s colours in both.
The club presented Momoa with a custom shirt with his name and the no.6 printed on the back.
In the second clip, Momoa can be heard pronouncing ‘Palermo’ in his best Italian accent. The club captioned the clip: “Sorry Jason, we didn’t quite catch your favourite team, can you repeat?”
Hundreds of supporters were left amused in the comments section, with one suggesting: “Even Momoa is in love with (Leo) Stulac’s right foot,” in reference to Palermo’s current no.6. Another joked: “Only Aquaman could go to Sicily and it be raining.”
