Viewpoint: ‘Alarming new research on glyphosate?’ Here’s how the Ramazzini Institute distorts science, spreads alarmism and fuels baseless lawsuits

According to a new study, glyphosate, the most widely used pesticide in the world, is extremely carcinogenic. In this study, 1020 rats were…given different variants of glyphosate in their drinking water for two years, in different quantities. In some rats, various forms of cancer were found over time.
Was the panic following this study justified? No. The Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Ctgb) ruled…that the study offered no new insights.
Incidentally, the research was conducted by the dubious Ramazzini Institute, which had previously completely missed the mark with research into the dangers of 5G and aspartame.
There was also no dose-response relationship (in short: more substance results in more cancer), something you would expect if glyphosate were indeed carcinogenic.
[T]here is no evidence to date that it is unsafe for humans as it is currently used…Constantly shouting that this is not the case erodes trust in science, institutions and experts who deal with this on a daily basis. Especially when this is done with activist fear-mongering disguised as scientific research. This is an excerpt. Read the original post here
