Viewpoint: Reversing the Green Revolution — Why Europe’s ‘Farm to Fork’ policy will increase hunger

After destroying European energy independence, environmentalists are now focusing on their next goal: the destruction of your supermarket.

This is the Farm to Fork (FTF) program of the European Commission, under the leadership of Commissioner Frans Timmermans.

In reality, the FTF program takes the exact opposite of what was called in India, in the 1960s, the Green Revolution.

By improving the seeds, through the implementation of smart fertilizers and selective pesticides, the Indians have increased their agricultural production. In doing so, India lifted hundreds of millions of children, women and men from starvation.

The truth is that the Green Revolution split the history of India: famines before, no famine since. Not the least. Foolishly, the Indians seem to consider the absence of famine to be preferable to the spectacle of children dying—literally—with their mouths open in the street.

According to the American federal study, if the world were inspired by the FTF program, no less than 185 million of our fellow human beings will be precipitated into food insecurity by the new environmentalist fanaticism, the one who plunges his fork into your plate to furiously push away anything that disagrees with his deadly impulses.

The ultimate revealer of fanaticism are crisis situations — real crises, not those fabricated from scratch by mad ideologues. Ukraine with its fertile land remains one of the most beautiful attics not only in Europe, but in the world. Thus Ukraine produces no less than 20% of the wheat consumed in the European Union, and 13% of oilseeds (among others). It is too early to determine the part of this production which will be destroyed by the Russian invasion.

What is certain, on the other hand, is that the combination of Farm to Fork and the war in Ukraine, if nothing is done to stop the criminal policy of the European Gosplan , condemns Europe to reconnect with the sordid and sticky pages of a story that we thought was over: hunger.
