What Happened To Gwendlyn Brown From Sister Wives?
Gwendlyn Brown is the daughter of Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and his third wife, Christine Brown, and things weren't always easy growing up in the Brown household. When the unscripted series premiered in 2010, the entire Brown family lived under one roof. Kody, his three wives, and all their combined children lived in a large Utah house that was designed for a polygamous family. Everything changed when the family added a fourth wife, Robyn Brown, to the family and moved into four multiple homes.
22-year-old Gwendlyn was only nine years old when Sister Wives premiered, and she grew up on television. Though Gwendlyn loved growing up in a big family with 17 siblings, getting her father's attention wasn't always possible. The family was already divided when the COVID-19 pandemic separated them for good. Gwendlyn's mother, Christine, was the first of Kody's wives to leave him, and three others would follow. Kody married his first three wives within a couple of years, between 1990 and 1994, but another 16 years would go by before he married Robyn and added her three children from a previous marriage to the family. After Kody and Robyn had two additional children, the number of Kody's children swelled to 18. With so many people needing Kody's time, some of his older children grew to resent the negligence. Once Christine decided to leave Kody, Gwendlyn was firmly on her mother's team.
Despite taking her mother's side in the divorce, Gwendlyn doesn't follow Christine on Instagram, which could suggest she has issues with her mother, too.

She's A Member Of The LGBT Community
During the summer of 2023, Gwendlyn, who is bisexual, married her girlfriend, Beatriz Queiroz, in Arizona. Gwendlyn isn't the only member of the Brown family who is a part of the LGBT community. Her older sibling, 28-year-old Leon Brown, is a transgender man.
Leon was born as a woman to Kody and his first wife, Meri Brown, who also divorced Kody in 2022.

While she may be estranged from her father, the Sister Wives cast member maintains relationships with her siblings. What Is Gwendlyn Up To In 2024?
Gwendlyn was always an integral part of the Brown family. However, in 2024, it seems she has distanced herself from them more and more, even her mother Christine. Despite maybe being at odds with her mom, Gwendlyn does still keep in touch with certain members of her family. In an Instagram post from August, Gwendlyn did share a carousel on her grid of her visiting a Harry Potter scavenger hunt and was joined by Janelle Brown, her mother's former sister wife. Gwendlyn took part in the scavenger hunt alongside her new wife, Beatriz.

Shortly after sharing her adventures at the scavenger hunt, Gwendlyn also took a trip with her sister, Ysabel Brown. The sister duo traveled to Cancun, Mexico, where, judging by the photos, the two had the time of their life. Gwendyn Earned A Degree "One Semester Early"

Gwendlyncelebrated a big milestone on Dec. 2024, when she earned her "BS" degree (Bachelor of Science) right before the new year. She seemed elated that all her hard work culminated in this achievement, and she should be very proud of herself. She grew up in an unconventional situation, while a production crew filmed her, but that doesn't mean that the strong-willed Gwendlyn went off the rails. She set a goal and stuck to it. Now, she can use her new degree to build a successful career. Her full caption read:

Gwendlyn didn't attend her mom's wedding with David Woolley, which did get noticed, but she had a good reason. Of course, Gwendlyn loves her mother - however, Christine's daughter had responsibilities at school and chose to prioritize her education. Quite possibly, Christine encouraged her to do so.
In the past, Gwendlyn has been very outspoken about her family - in particular, on YouTube, she's blasted Kody for "spending very crazy," as seen in the clip below.She clearly feels that her father and his fourth wife, who's now his only remaining spouse, are living lavishly, and perhaps beyond their means. Right now, Kody's waffling over the future of Coyote Pass, while Janelle and Meri want him to sell the property. The Battle of Coyote Pass never seems to end.
While Gwendlyn hasn't weighed in on the Coyote Pass drama yet, she clearly has lived with issues with certain family members, including Kody, Robyn, and Paedon Brown. In fact, she and Paedon don't get along well. Both share Christine and Kody as parents, so it seems like they should be close, but they're actually estranged. Both are very bold people with strong opinions - maybe they get along better with gentler people who balance them out - perhaps they're really too much alike. Gwendlyn considers her brother sexist, and said he was mean to her when they were children.
Overall, Gwendlyn has moved on from her past as a Sister Wives cast member. Not only is Gwendlyn too busy living her best life in 2024 to appear on Sister Wives season 19, she probably didn't want to in the first place. There is still time for her to make an appearance, but maybe she won't make her reality TV return until Sister Wives season 20.
