Napoli supporters made their opinions known to club President Aurelio De Laurentiis during Saturday afternoon’s 1-1 draw with Genoa in Serie A, as chants of ‘we deserve more’ rang out at the Stadio Maradona during the second half.
Cyril Ngonge left it late to rescue a point for the Partenopei in the 90th minute, cancelling out Morten Frendrup’s opener two minutes into the second half.
Napoli, who ran away with the Serie A title in 2022-23, now find themselves stuck in ninth place in the league, six points off Atalanta in the Champions League spots having played one game more than Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
Napoli have also won just one of their four Serie A matches since their return from the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia in January.
While coach Walter Mazzarri has come under plenty of criticism during his tenure, De Laurentiis is also fronting a lot of the frustration from the club’s supporters.
As reported by TMW, during the second half against Genoa, repeated chants of “De Laurentiis, hear this call: We deserve more,” were heard from the stands.

Yes a lot of questions need to be answered as to why a winning team has dropped off so much in form shortly after winning the league.
The nutcase totalitarian is to be blamed for everything but of course he will never learn his lessons because he’s incapable of doing so.
