Adding to this was the stream of ‘lawyer ads’ that popped up with puzzling regularity on the morning radio program that was keeping me company on my journey. Puzzling because – in Canada – if you need a lawyer, you generally just seek one out. Not the other way around.
The culture of US litigation system is quite different from Canada’s, in my opinion. My perspective is shaped by my (perhaps, naïve) world view and by my life experiences.
